The following projects were created during a 3 month glass blowing course in Bowling Green, OH, USA.

The project deals with the overpopulation of the earth. There is a focus on not connotating birth negatively, but on staging it as something natural and beautiful by depicting the womb as a shell. The contrast in size between the plastic babies and the earth, depicted as a sphere, emphasizes the imbalance.

Blowing glass was a completely new experience for me. Experiencing and using glass as a material was very fascinating. The most advanced object I made was a thin cup that was blown into a metal cube.
